Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the escape room game app provided by PlayEscape (the “Service”), and the rights and obligations of the Service and its users. By installing and using the app, you agree to these terms.

The Korean version of these terms is the original. If a translation differs from it, the Korean version prevails.

The Service offers a collection of escape room games (“rooms”). You add a room, look around its scenes, collect items, and solve puzzles to escape. The rooms are included in the app, so you can play them without an internet connection.

All rooms and hints in the Service are currently free. If we add paid features such as paid rooms or in-app purchases, we will update these terms and announce it in advance, and payments will follow the policies of each app store.

The Service has no sign-up. Your game records are stored only on your device.

You may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you must not:

• ·Copy, distribute, or sell the app’s or the rooms’ programs, artwork, text, or sounds, or use them in another service
• ·Reverse-engineer or modify the app, or distribute an app made that way
• ·Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
• ·Violate the law or the rights of others

The copyright and other rights to the content of the Service, including the rooms’ stories, characters, artwork, puzzles, text, and sounds, belong to the operator or to their rightful owners. Under these terms, you receive only a personal right to enjoy that content within the app.

Your game records are stored only on your device and are not kept on the operator’s servers. They may be lost if you delete the app, change devices, or your device breaks, and the operator cannot restore lost records.

The Service may change its content, such as adding, changing, or removing rooms, and may end all or part of the Service for operational reasons. If the Service ends, we will announce it 30 days in advance.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is not liable for damages you suffer in connection with your use of this free Service, except for damages caused by the Service’s intent or gross negligence. This includes, for example:

• ·Game records lost because a device broke, was lost or reset, or the app was deleted
• ·The app not working properly because of your device or operating system

These terms are an agreement between the Service and you, not with Apple. The Service is responsible for the app and its content, and Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting the app, for warranties, or for third-party intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you directly.

The Service may change these terms to the extent permitted by law. We will post changes on this page 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if they are unfavorable to you. If you keep using the Service after the effective date of the changed terms, you are considered to have agreed to the change.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes between the Service and you will first be resolved through good-faith discussion, and if that fails, by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Nothing in this section limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
